Gabriel Rosillo Kindelan is ending his Olympic run with a bronze at the 2024 Paris Games.

The 24-year-old Cuban Greco-Roman wrestler defeated Uzbekistan’s Rustam Assakalov in the Men’s 97kg Greco-Roman wresting match to earn the bronze at the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Rosillo, the reigning world champion, threw Assakalov a few seconds into the bout and caused an injury to his right shoulder that prevented him from continuing in the battle.
