David Archuleta is letting Freedom ring.

The 34-year-old half-Honduran & part-Spanish American singer and American Idol runner-up released a cover of George Michael’s hit single “Freedom! ’90.”

David ArchuletaIt’s been 35 years since Michael released the career-defining anthem — and now, Archuleta would like to take a moment to celebrate its legacy.

With his interpretation of the track, Archuleta keeps the formula simple — not quite recreating the song note for note, but sticking as closely as possible to Michael’s version as possible.

Backed up by a full chorus and placing his larger-than-life voice front and center, Archuleta does a service to Michael’s legacy with this moving cover.

Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for the new docuseries The Super Models, featuring the 54-year-old half-Salvadoran American model and humanitarian.

Christy TurlingtonTurlington is among the four women who inspired the term “supermodel” and will be getting some majorly overdue recognition in the new docuseries set to premiere later this month.

The first trailer features a mix of old and new footage of models Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista and Turlington reflecting on their careers.

The women reveal some of their experiences in the fashion world, from Evangelista mentioning how she would be told to lose weight to Campbell decrying how she lost advertising deals and was “bullied” due to the color of her skin.

The trailer includes commentary from fashion designers such as Donna Karan, as well as footage of the women with the late Gianni Versace and the fashionable troupe’s unmatched group energy.

Time is also dedicated to George Michael’s pop classic “Freedom ’90” and its iconic music video, which made the quartet of beauties – Naomi, Cindy, Linda and Christy – even bigger household names.

“The Super Models,” a four-part series, will premiere on Apple TV+ on September 20.
