Layla Benitez to Perform Set at San Diego’s Biannual CRSDD Festival This Fall

The half-Puerto Rican deejay is set to take the stage at San Diego’s biannual CRSDD festival’s fall edition.

Layla Benitez,Benitez joins a lineup that includes Underworld, Flume, LP Giobbi, Fatboy Slim, Jayda G, Eliza Rose and many more.

Encompassing house, techno, indie electronic and all flavors of dance music encompassed therein, the CRSDD Fall 2023 lineup also features Anjuna mainstay Ben Böhmer, U.K. live electronic favorite SG Lewis, Norwegian legends Röyksopp, a DJ set from the legends Basement Jaxx, white hot duo Overmono, tech-house evangelist FISHER, Chris Lake playing b2b Cloonee, techno queens Charlotte de Witte and Amelie Lens, Norwegian hero Todd Terje, rising U.K stars Barry Can’t Swim, TSHA, HAAi, salute and many more.

The festival will take place on September 23 and 24 at San Diego’s Waterfront Park, where it’s been hosted since its 2014 debut. Tickets for the 21 and over show go on sale on Wednesday, June 21.

Artists at the event play across three stages, with the venue directly on the harbor of San Diego Bay. The venue also includes interactive programming via the CRSSD Lab music-tech lounge, along with a vinyl market.

Both the spring and fall editions of CRSSD typically host roughly 15,000 fans and serve as part of a Southern California electronic festival roster that includes HARD, myriad Insomniac Events shows, Coachella and more. The festival is produced by the SoCal based FNGRS CRSSD.

The 25-year-old Mexican American singer and songwriter will perform at this year’s Life is Beautiful festival in Downtown Las Vegas.

Omar Apollo,The star-studded lineup for its 10th anniversary installment includes headliners Kendrick LamarThe Killers, ODESZA and Flume. 

The three-day event will take place from September 22 to 24, and will also feature a number of newcomers, set to take the Life Is Beautiful stage for the first time, including Khalid, The 1975, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Apollo, Kim Petras and more.

Additionally, the festival will honor the iconic entertainment of Sin City with performances and appearances from Vegas headliners including Cirque du Soleil, Blue Man Group, Jabbawockeez, Magic Mike Live, Piff the Magic Dragon and Tape Face.

“This year’s lineup is a reflection of the 10 years we’ve spent striving to give fans incredible experiences, centered around a weekend of revelry in Las Vegas,” said Craig Asher Nyman, director of music, programming and development for Life is Beautiful. “They asked, and we listened! Our fans are the heartbeat of this festival, and it’s our intention to deliver a festival that is a true representation of their interests.”

General Admission passes start at $380. Life is Beautiful has also added an all-new GA+ ticket tiers, which gives fans express festival entry, a private GA+ lounge with food and beverage offerings and air conditioned restrooms.

The 24-year-old Mexican American bilingual singer/songwriter will perform at this year’s Austin City Limits Music Festival.

Omar ApolloApollo, a two-time Latin Grammy nominee, will perform on both weekends of the festival, which take places over the course of two weekends at the city’s downtown Zilker Park, with bands playing across nine stages on October 7-9 and October 14-16.

But Apollo isn’t the only Latinx artist set to perform…

BIA, born Bianca Miquela Landrau, will also form part of the eclectic lineup at this year’s fest. The 30-year-old half-Puerto Rican singer rose to acclaim with the hit single “Whole Lotta Money.”

Other Latinx performers include The Marias, Sabrina Claudio and Lido Pimienta.

The lineup for the Austin Kiddie Limits will be announced soon, with music fans ages 8 and under admitted free of charge when accompanied by a ticketed adult.

Kid Cudi to Co-Headline This Year’s Governors Ball at New York’s Citi Field

The 37-year-old half-Mexican American singer/rapper is set to co-headline the 2022 Governors Ball festival at Citi Field in Queens, New York.

Kid CudiKid Cudi will co-headline alongside J.Cole and Halsey at the festival, which will take place on June 10-12.

The event will also feature sets from Migos, Jack Harlow, Louis the Child, Black Pumas, Skepta, Beabadoobee, Flume, Roddy Ricch, YG, Tove Lo, Denzel Curry, Playboi Carti, Glass Animals, Kaytranada, Clairo, Becky G, Jazmine Sullivan, Japanese Breakfast, 100 Gecs and many more.

Tickets for the event go on sale on Thursday, January 27 at noon ET on the event’s website; a special presale for three-day and one-day passes and VIP tickets will open exclusively for Citi cardmembers from 10 a.m. ET on Tuesday (Jan. 25) through 11:59 a.m. ET on Thursday (Jan. 27).

In a release announcing this year’s event, promoters Founders Entertainment also said that they’ll be donating $25,000 to the New York City Mayor’s Fund for the victims of January’s devastating Bronx apartment building fire that killed 17 and injured dozens of others; attendees can also support the victims of the blaze by donation to the relief effort via The Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City.

The festival celebrated its 10th anniversary in the fall with a show that featured headliners Post Malone, Billie Eilish and A$AP Rocky. As usual, the 2022 festival will feature a rich array of craft cocktails, beers, food, surprise pop-up performances and art installations.

Jauregui Takes the Stage with Marian Hill to Perform New Collaboration “Back to Me”

Lauren Jauregui is letting it Snow(Globe) this New Year with a new single…

The 20-year-old Cuban-American singer and Fifth Harmony member made a special appearance at the SnowGlobe Festival in South Lake Tahoe, California to perform alongside Marian Hill.

Jauregui collaborated with Hill on new track “Back to Me,” and they took the stage on for their first public live performance together.

“It’s so cool to sing your own words and watch people in the crowd f— with it..truly the most incredible experience #thankyou,” Jauregui announced on Twitter after the show, on Saturday (December 31).

“SLAYED it so proud to be the first of many,” Marian Hill wrote back.

The SnowGlobe lineup, which took place from December 29-31, also featured artists including the Chainsmokers, Major Lazer, Flume, Lil Yachty, D.R.A.M. and more.
