It’s J Balvin’s quinceañera on the charts…

The 34-year-oldColombian reggaeton singerhas nabbed his 15th No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart with his collaboration with Bad Bunny, “Que Pretendes.”

J Balvin & Bad Bunny

J Balvin and Bad Bunny’s singerlifts 2-1 on the chart dated August 10.

It’s the first single off their collaborative eight-track album, Oasis (released June 28), advances with 13.8 million audience impressions (up 35%) earned in the week ending August 4, according to Nielsen Music.

J Balvin breaks away from a four-way tie with Carlos VivesShakira, and Wisin who have each claimed 14 No. 1s thus far. J Balvin now places as the act with the third-most leaders in the chart’s history which began in 1994. Bad Bunny, meanwhile, claims his sixth.

Beyond the “Que Pretendes” coronation, each act has nabbed two other No. 1s in 2019. J Balvin claimed his first No. 1 of the year when “Reggaeton” hit the top in its 13th week (chart dated April 6). His collaboration on Ozuna’s remix, “Baila Baila Baila,” alongside Daddy YankeeFarruko and Anuel AA, secured a spot atop the list just a little over a month after.

Bad Bunny’s “Soltera,” with Lunayand Daddy Yankee arrived at No. 1 on the July 13-dated tally (a two-week reign), while “Callaita,” with compatriot producer Tainy, landed at the summit last week (Aug. 3-dated list).

Farruko Earns First No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Digital Song Sales Chart with Jason Derulo Collaboration “Mamacita”

Farrukohas a mother of a hit on his hands…

The 28-year-old Puerto Rican singer and songwriter’s collaboration with Jason Derulo, “Mamacita,” debuts at No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Digital Song Sales chart dated July 20, becoming the first leader on the list for both singers.

Farruko

“The song came from such an honest place, I wasn’t trying to make a hit or catch any trends,” Derulo tells Billboard. “I wanted to make a party song that had a Latin feel, when I got Farruko’s verse I felt like it was going to be fire!”

The bilingual track, produced by Nuking Uffpop, starts with 3,000 downloads sold in the week ending July 11, according to Nielsen Music.

“I’m from Miami so Latin influence has been very prevalent in my life and that’s where the idea of the song came from and the partnership with Farruko,” Derulo adds. “I didn’t expect it to go No. 1, especially in the first week. I’m shocked, but I’m very thankful.”

“Mamacita” misses charting on the Hot Latin Songs chart (which blends sales, airplay and streaming data), as the track is just getting started with streams (850,000 in the week ending July 11) and garnered minimal airplay in the week ending July 14 (with just one reporting Latin station playing the song).

Farruko scores his best debut week on the tally. “Baila Baila Baila” with OzunaDaddy YankeeJ Balvin and Anuel AA, reached No. 2  on the May 11-dated chart; with 2,000 recorded downloads in its first week.
