In the comedy, which just saw its first trailer released, David portrays a heavily bearded marketing executive at a carmaker.

An argument with his boss leaves him unemployes, so he sells his shares in the company, just before its worth soars into the billions. A decade later, with a new identity and minus numerous hair follicles, he gets the chance to get even.

David co-wrote the film, which also stars Bill Hader, Curb and Seinfeld veteran Philip Baker Hall, Jon Hamm, Kate Hudson, Michael Keaton, Danny McBride, Amy Ryan and David’s Curb foil J.B. Smoove.

Clear History is set to premiere on HBO on August 10.

Ryan Gosling Casts Mendes in His Directorial Debut Film

Gosling, who is preparing to make his directorial debut, has reportedly cast the 38-year-old Cuban-American actress as one of his leading ladies in How to Catch a Monster.

Gosling has picked Rob Zabrecky as Mendes’ co-star. The two join previously announced cast members Christina Hendricks and Ben Mendelsohn.

Gosling’s film weaves fantasy noir elements with suspense in what’s being called a modern day fairytale. Set against the surreal dreamscape of a vanishing city, the story follows a single mother of two named Billy. She’s swept into a macabre and dark fantasy underworld while her teenage son discovers a secret road leading to an underwater town. Both Billy and her son must dive deep into the mystery, if their family is to survive.

Mendes will reportedly play Cat, a prominent figure of the Big Bad Wolf Club. Zabrecky will play a cab driver.

Filming on How to Catch a Monster is set to begin filming this May.

Mendes and Gosling previously worked together on screen in The Place Beyond the Pines, which will open in theaters on March 29.

Bündchen Named One of the Hottest Women of 2013

She may have just given birth to her second child last month, but Gisele Bündchen is still being hailed as one of the hottest women of 2013…

Men’s Health has named the 32-year-old Brazilian supermodel as of the hottest women of the year. Bündchen, who comes in at No. 9, is the only Latina to make the Top 10.

Gisele Bundchen

“She’s like a fashion model blitzkrieg; unstoppable, and easily destroying the competition. She’s been so busy that she purportedly turned down 20 million dollars to be the spokeswoman for Clonaid, the human cloning company. Which, on the one hand, was probably a smart business decision,” says the magazine “(The Guinness Book of Records credits her as ‘the world’s richest supermodel,’  so she doesn’t need the money.) But still, can you imagine if Clonaid was able to use their cloning technology to build an army of Bündchens? There could be a Bündchen in every home! Okay, probably not realistic, but we can dream, can’t we?”

Other Latinas who’ve made the list include Jessica Alba, Adriana Lima and Sofia Vergara. Katy Perry topped the list, beating out Esquire‘s Sexiest Woman Alive Mila Kunis, AskMen‘s Most Desirable Woman Jennifer Lawrence, and Maxim‘s hottest woman Bar Refaeli.

Directed by Derek Cianfrance, the indie film tells the story of how the crimes of one generation trickle down to the next. Gosling plays a pro motorcycle rider-turned bank-robber, while Bradley Cooper plays the police offer determined to catch him.

It’s also the film where love apparently blossomed off-screen for Mendes and Gosling, who have been dating since September 2011.

The film had critics floored at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival and even generated some comparisons to the generational crime drama, The Godfather.

The Place Beyond the Pines is slated to open in limited release on March 29.

She’s the latest in a long line of celebrities who’d “Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur,” including Eva Mendes, Khloe Kardashian, Christy Turlington, Wendy Williams, Joanna Krupa and Bethenny Frankel.

Mendes to Star in Larry David’s HBO Original “Clear History”

It looks like Eva Mendes and comedian Larry David will soon have a clear history together…

The 38-year-old Cuban American actress has joined the all-star cast of HBO‘s newly titled Clear History, an original movie co-written and top-lined by David and co-starring Kate Hudson, Jon Hamm and Danny McBride.

Directed by Greg Mottola, the movie centers on Nathan Flomm (David), a former marketing executive at a start-up electric car company who, after losing a fortune due to a petty argument with his boss, is publicly humiliated for walking away from his 10 percent of a company now worth billions. Ten years later, his marriage over and reputation ruined, Nathan has changed his identity and lives a simple life on a small island off the coast of Massachusetts under the new name of Rolly DaVore. But when his former boss (Hamm) shows up to renovate his summer mansion, Nathan vows to seek his revenge and drive his nemesis off the island.

Mendes, who was recently named on of the most dangerous celebrities on the web, is set to portray an islander who takes an off-handed suggestion from David’s character a bit too seriously, causing him no end of trouble.

Mendes Named to List of Most Dangerous Celebrities on the Web

She’s one of the hottest Latina celebrities on the planet… But Eva Mendes is apparently one of the most dangerous starlets as well.

The 38-year-old Cuban-American has been named to McAfee‘s annual list of Most Dangerous Celebrities in Cyberspace. Mendes makes the list for the first time, coming in at No. 3.

Eva Mendes

Searching for the latest Mendes pictures and downloads yields a greater chance of landing on a website that has tested positive for online threats like spyware, adware, spam, phishing, viruses and other malware, according to the Internet security firm.

But Mendes wasn’t the only Hispanic celebrity to make the watch list. In all, six Latinas ranked in the Top 10.

Here’s a look at the other Latina celebrities making the list:

No. 4 Selena Gomez
No. 7 Shakira
No. 8 Cameron Diaz
No. 9 Salma Hayek
No. 10 Sofia Vergara

Diaz, who ranked as 2010’s most dangerous celebrity, dropped six spots from last year’s position.

Harry Potter actress Emma Watson topped the annual list, replacing last year’s No. 1 Heidi Klum on the yearly list released by McAfee.
