Paulo Londra,Londra’s deal, signed at the company’s Miami Beach headquarters with Londra’s family, team, and the label’s president, Alejandro Duque, in attendance, will focus on the artist’s upcoming releases and musical expansion.

“I’m happy for this new phase,” Londra, who last released music in 2019, expressed in a press statement. “I waited and went through a lot to be able to do what I love. I’ve gone through the bad times, now it’s time for the good times, that’s why I’ve started to enjoy it.”

Paulo Londra, Warner Music LatinaIn November 2021, Londra settled a two-year legal battle with Cristian Salazar and producer Daniel Oviedo (Ovy on the Drums), with whom he co-founded Big Ligas in 2018. During the course of the term, Big Ligas entered a $3 million licensing deal with Warner Music Latina in January 2019. After filing dueling lawsuits in 2020, Big Ligas and Paulo Londra amicably resolved their differences in a Miami courtroom.

“We are thrilled that Paulo has chosen us for this new phase,” Duque, president of Warner Music Latin America added. “Paulo has been at the forefront since the beginning of his career and has captivated global audiences with his music. We are convinced that Paulo’s best is yet to come and we are proud to be part of this moment and together, take Paulo Londra’s music to the global scene.”

Camila Cabello to Release Third Solo Album “Familia” on April 8

Camila Cabello is celebrating her birthday with a special announcement…

Om Thursday, March 3, the Cuban & Mexican singer and former Fifth Harmony member celebrated her 25th birthday by announcing that her third studio album, Familia, will be released next month on April 8.

Camila Cabello

“2 facts: it’s my birthday and this album is my whole f–king heart,” Cabello wrote on Twitter and Instagram, with a photo of the album’s cover art attached — an intimate snap of her in a sequined black dress with a multicolored ruffled skirt, holding a smiling young girl in her arms. “FAMILIA. Out April 8.”

In addition to the cover art, the singer shared a link for fans and followers to pre-save the album on Spotify and Apple Music.

The news of Familia‘s release date comes after the three-time Grammy nominee started teasing the release of her forthcoming single, “Bam Bam” featuring Ed Sheeran, via TikTok and Instagram.

The single is preceded by “La Buena Vida,” “Don’t Go Yet” and “Oh Na Na” with Myke Towers and Tainy, though it is unclear if the collaboration is part of the album.

Speaking with Billboard News in November about the forthcoming album release, Cabello said Familia “means community, I guess the opposite of you on your own.” She continued, “It’s more you with other people land sharing in that joy and success, whatever that means. Interdependence realizing how important everybody is in your life. A lot of it is inspired by my relationships: My relationships to my family, my relationship to my friends, my relationship to my partner … it’s all about connections with other people, hence, Familia.”

Camila Cabello Brings “Cinderella” Character to James Corden’s “Crosswalk the Musical” Segment

Camila Cabello isn’t afraid to walk the (cross)walk

Late night television host James Corden has debuted another segment of his Crosswalk the Musical on The Late Late Show, and this time he welcomed the 24-year-old Cuban and Mexican singer/actress and their Cinderella co-stars Billy Porter and Idina Menzel.

Camila Cabello, Crosswalk the Musical

The segment opened with Corden dressed as the fairy godmother, quipping that he gave Porter the wrong address because he’s “intimidated.” “Billy Porter is the only actor I’ve ever encountered who is almost as talented as I am,” the late-night host joked.

Porter eventually joined Cabello and Menzel, immediately calling out Corden and reminding him that he’s “the only one that’s going to be playing the Fairy Godmother” whereas Corden can play “the rat” like he does in the film, to which Corden argued was a mouse.

The co-stars then changed into their characters from Amazon’s Cinderella and stopped traffic to perform songs from the film in the somewhat busy streets of Los Angeles. The Cinderella actors and singers sang along to a few of the tunes they cover in the musical, including the mash-up of Janet Jackson’s “Rhythm Nation” and Des’ree’s “You Gotta Be.”

A few drivers looked amused and confused while others appeared slightly annoyed that their commute was delayed.

The modern version of the classic fairy tale, now streaming on Amazon Prime Video, depicts the princess, played by Cabello, as an independent woman who is focused on achieving her fashion dreams. The jukebox musical features the cast’s versions of popular songs like Madonna’s “Material Girl,” Queen’s “Somebody to Love,” and Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect.” The film marks Cabello’s acting debut.

The segment ends with Porter, who plays the Fabulous Godparent dubbed “Fab G” in the film, turning Corden into an actual mouse. “Bibbidi-bobbidi bye bitch,” Porter says to the camera.

Amazon’s Cinderella is streaming now.

Brandon Arreaga & His PRETTYMUCH Group Mates Sign with Sire Records

Brandon Arreaga is ready to in-sire

The 20-year-old Latino singer and his fellow PRETTYMUCH pop group mates, which Simon Cowell launched under his label Syco Entertainment in 2017, have signed to Warner Records imprint Sire Records, marking the start of a “new era,” according to the group’s members.

PRETTYMUCH

The five members — Arreaga, Edwin Honoret, Zion Kuwonu, Nick Mara and Austin Porter — were originally pursuing solo careers until Syco founder Cowell approached them about creating a group in 2016.

PRETTYMUCH debuted in 2017 with the single “Would You Mind,” and have since released three EPs with Syco, sold out two headlining tours (also opening for Khalid) and worked with the likes of Ed Sheeran and French Montana.

The new signing follows an announcement in July that Cowell and Sony Music Entertainment would be ending the 11-year joint venture, which created Syco, with Sony Music to retain the JV’s back catalog and roster of artists.

The group has quickly been scooped up by Sire. Label president Rani Hancock tells Billboard that she has always been drawn to PRETTYMUCH because the members are “quadruple threats”: Singers, songwriters, producers and performers. A meeting with the band and their management team at KYN Entertainment, former Syco president Sonny Takhar and Mitch Eisner, sealed the deal.

“I have always admired PRETTYMUCH, so when Sonny reached out I was excited to meet them, and meeting them impressed me even more,” Hancock says. “I knew they were great singers and performers but quickly found out they are also impressive songwriters, producers, photographers, choreographers, and more. They are truly the architects of their own sound and vision and an unstoppable force.”

Arreaga says that the feeling was mutual, since he had “always wanted to be respected as a producer/songwriter.” “At Sire, they’ve shown so much interest in my work and even helped shape small ideas into full songs that I hadn’t seen the potential in,” he adds. “For us, it’s important that we remember to always keep evolving and always keep pushing the boundaries of what we’re capable of.”

With a fresh record deal under their belt, PRETTYMUCH is set to release their first new music since 2019’s INTL:EP in the coming year.

And y’all going to see it on the music video as well, from models to influencers and everything,” she told Zane Lowe in an Apple Music interview about the visual. “And I really wanted the video to be very sexy, very clean, very nice, very cut. All right, we need some female artists, rappers. And I’m like, ‘These are the girls that I personally like. That I like they music. That I really feel they are going to go mainstream, to me.’ All the girls right here, there’s different things that I like about them.”

Cardi B’s next album could be a real eagle, or at least a birdie…

The 26-year-old half-Dominican American rap sensation  teased fans about her sophomore album plans during an Instagram Live session Thursday morning.

Cardi B

“Everything that I’m working on right now is straight to my album. Straight to my album,” she said, while having her eyeliner done in the car. “And I think I’m gonna name my album Tiger Woods. I think I’ma name my album Tiger Woods ‘cause remember when everybody was talking shit on Tiger Woods and then he fucking came and won that green jacket? That’s what I’ma name my album.”

Cardi B is referring to the star golfer who won his first major tournament since 2008 earlier this year at the Masters, after extramarital affairs and a slew of knee and back injuries nearly derailed his entire career.

Cardi B has remained hard at work completing the anticipated follow-up to her Grammy-winning hit Invasion of Privacy
