Gomez Earns Her Ninth Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award

She may not be a child anymore, but Selena Gomez is still the kids’ choice.

The 22-year-old half-Mexican-American singer-actress picked up the ninth orange blimp of her career at Saturday’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.

Gomez, who most recently collaborated with Zedd on the new single “I Want You to Know,” took home the KCA for Favorite Female Singer, beating out Ariana Grande, Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift for the honor.

The win breaks Gomez’s tie with Miley Cyrus to make her the most awarded female artist in Kids Choice Awards history.

Meanwhile, Fifth Harmony picked up its first orange blimp…

The all-girl group, consistin of members Ally Brooke Hernandez, Normani Hamilton, Dinah Jane Hansen, Camila Cabello and Lauren Jauregui, beat out 5 Seconds of Summer, Echosmith, Iggy Azalea, Jessie J and Meghan Trainor for Favorite New Artist.

3BallMTY to Take the Stage for 20 Honda Civic Tour Dates

3BallMTY is ready for a little civic duty…

The Mexican tribal music troupe, consisting of Erick Rincon, Sergio Zavala (Dj Sheeqo Beat) and Alberto Presenda (Dj Otto) has joined the lineup for the Honda Civic Tour.

3BallMTY have been added to the third and final dates of the tour alongside Panamanian hip-hop group Los Rakas. They’re the tour’s first-ever Latin acts to participate in the popular tour.

The acts will trek throughout the country for 20 shows, with stops in Houston, Miami, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

The 13th edition of the 2014 tour, which was divided into three sections, earlier, included bands such as Grouplove and Portugal. the Man co-headlining during the summer with Tokyo Police Club and Typhoon. The American Authors are now headlining the second leg with the Mowgli’s, Echosmith and Oh Honey, with U.S. Shows through mid-November.

“We are honored to have been chosen as the first Latin artists to participate in the Honda Civic Tour and look forward to continuing the success of previous tours,” said Zavala in a statement.

The final leg starts Nov. 23 and ends Dec. 21.
