Camila Cabello’s “Havana” Retains Crown on Australia’s ARIA Singles Chart

It’s three in a row for Camila Cabello in Australia…

The Mexican and Colombian singer and former Fifth Harmony member’s hit single “Havana” retains the singles chart crown Down Under.

Cabello’s “Havana” featuring Young Thug snags a third straight week at the summit on the ARIA Singles Chart.

Cabello’s hit is certified three-times platinum (210,000 units) in its 14 weeks on the tally.

The song has performed well internationally. In addition to reaching No. 1 in Australia, it’s also taken to top spot in Canada, Ireland, Mexico, Scotland and the United Kingdom, as well as made the top ten in a number of countries including Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland.

“Havana” has peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S., where it became Cabello’s highest-ranking single.

Alejandro González Iñárritu is flying high Down Under…

The Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts has revealed its nominations for its fourth annual AACTA International Awards for film in seven categories, with the 51-year-old’s dark comedy Birdman leading the field with seven nods.

González Iñárritu, who penned and helmed the Birdman script, is nominated in the Best Director and Best Screenplay categories.

The film, starring Michael Keaton and Emma Stone, is also nominated for Best Film.
