Forget the No Fly List… Victoria Justice has landed on the No Kiss List.
The 20-year-old half-Puerto Rican actress/singer and former Nickelodeon star has signed on to star opposite up-and-comer Pierson Fode in the indie film Naomi + Ely’s No Kiss List.
The romantic comedy is based on the popular young-adult novel by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan (Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist).
Directed by Kristin Hanggit, the story revolves around NYU freshmen and childhood neighbors Naomi (Justice) and Ely (Fode), who have been in love with one another their whole lives, even though Ely isn’t exactly into girls. The institution of a “No Kiss List” has prevented the two from rifts in the past, but their bond is tested when they both fall for the same guy. The once inseparable pair must figure out if they can let go and grow up.
Amy Andelson and Emily Meyer adapted the screenplay.
The film is shooting in New York City.
Justice is best known as the singer and breakout Nickelodeon star of Victorious. She also starred in Paramount Pictures‘ teen comedy adventure Fun Size.
