Lea Michele is offering an extra personal glimpse into her life…
The 27-year-old part-Spanish actress/singer and Glee star has announced the next single from her debut album Louder.
Entitled “You’re Mine,” the song is a moving ballad that is a tribute to her late boyfriend and co-star, Cory Monteith, who died in July.
Michele gave fans an early listen to one of her most personal tracks by sharing a link to the full audio track for “You’re Mine.”
“My next . . . track #YOUREMINE (available tomorrow) is my favorite song on #LOUDER,” she tweeted Monday. “It’s so special to me & its story is so close to my heart.”
The song’s heartfelt lyrics include, “And you said those three words I’ve been waiting for/ You became a part of me,” as well as “You’re mine, for life/ And I’ll be by your side/ We are entwined/ You’re mine, for life.”
Michele spoke about the song, and its special meaning, to Elle late last year. “The album was done, and the label said, ‘Do you want to add anything?’ I was like, ‘I might regret it if I don’t,'” she said at the time. “It makes me think so much of Cory. It was ours. When I think if him, I play this.”
Her debut album, Louder, is set to be released on March 4, 2014.
