Daddy Yankee to Perform at Coliseo de Puerto Rico for First Time in 12 Years

The 42-year-old Puerto Rican reggaeton rapper/singer is set to perform his first show in 12 years at Coliseo de Puerto Rico.

Daddy Yankee’s Con Calma Pal’ Choli concert is set for December 5, the artist announced on social media.

Produced by Rafael Pina, Con Calma Pa’l Choli is part of Yankee’s world tour. 

The ticket pre-sale will start on Tuesday, September 17.

Daddy Yankee, considered a pioneer of reggaeton, is the mastermind behind hits like “Con Calma,” “Dura” and “Despacito” alongside Luis Fonsi. This year, he is one of the top nominees for the Latin AMAs 2019, with five nominations.

Don Omar Announces Retirement Tour, Forever King… The Last Tour

The 39-year-old Puerto Rican reggaeton singer and actor, known as El Rey, has announced his retirement through his Forever King… The Last Tour.

Don Omar made the official announcement this week, posting a black and white photo on his social media accounts, while announcing that the tickets for his home country shows at Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan will start at 99 cents each.

The tour-launching shows will take place Dec. 15-17.

The specially priced tickets go on sale Sept. 9 at the arena ticket office from 7:00 -10:00 am. Regular tickets will be available the same day.

“It will be a great opportunity to thank everyone on my island and return what I received,” said Omar.

The final tour will be produced by SBS Entertainment.

No dates have been announced for the U.S. leg.

“It is an honor to be part of a historic moment for Don Omar and Puerto Rico, and we thank him and the Puerto Ricans for allowing us to create and bring the best entertainment,” said Lucas Piña, SBS Entertainment senior vice president.

Yandel Launching “Dangerous” 15-Stop U.S. Tour

The 39-year-old Puerto Rican reggaeton musician, songwriter and record producer has announced his upcoming “Dangerous” tour.

The revelation comes less than six months after signing an exclusive, worldwide management deal with Roc Nation.

Encompassing 15 U.S. dates, the tour kicks off October 9 at Chicago’s Aragon Ballrom and will be Yandel’s longest running U.S. stint to date as a soloist.

The Dangerous tour, named after Yandel’s current album on Sony Music Latin, will also take him to Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas and Boston, among other cities.

It’s Yandel’s first trek as part of his newly-signed exclusive touring with Live Nation.

The U.S. tour will be preceded by an October 7 date in San Juan’s Coliseo de Puerto Rico.

The “Dangerous” tour will have a marquee roster of supporting acts: Alexis y Fido, Plan B and De La Ghetto will join on select dates, while DJ Lobo and Gadiel will support in all stops.

Yandel’s current single, “Nunca me olvides,” is at No. 18 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart. As a featured artist, he’s also at No. 6 with Maluma’s “El perdedor” and at No. 17 with “Ay Mi Dios” by IAmChino, also featuring Pitbull and El Chacal.

Live Nation, together with Tidal, will launch “Dangerous” ticket presales for its members and for Yandel fans beginning Tuesday, August 30 at 10 a.m. local time both on Tidal and Live Nation’s websites. General ticket sales begin August 31.
