Max Releases Official Trailer for Season 3 of “Hacks,” Featuring Mark Indelicato

Mark Indelicato is making a run for it…

Max has released the official trailer for the third season of its award-winning series Hacks, with the 29-year-old part-Puerto Rican actor and Ugly Betty alum seen running down an airport runway.

Mark IndelicatoHacks, starring Jean Smart, will return to the streamer on May 2 for nine episodes. The season concludes on May 30.

A year after parting ways, Deborah Vance (Smart) is riding high off the success of her standup special while Ava (Hannah Einbinder) pursues new opportunities back in Los Angeles.

In addition to Smart, Einbinder and Indelicato, who portrays Damien, Deborah’s personal assistant, others returning to the comedy include Paul W. Downs, Megan Stalter, Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Kaitlin Olson, Christopher McDonald, Rose Abdoo and Chilean actress/model Lorenza Izzo.

Previously announced guest stars include Helen Hunt, Christina Hendricks, Christopher Lloyd, Dan Bucatinsky, George Wallace and Tony Goldwyn.

Hacks is created and showrun by Emmy winners Downs, Lucia Aniello and Jen Statsky.

It ‘s executive produced by Downs and Aniello via their Paulilu banner, Statsky via First Thought Productions, as well as Emmy winners Michael Schur via Fremulon, David Miner for 3 Arts Entertainment and Morgan Sackett.

The studio for the series is Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.

Mark Indelicato to Appear on HBO Max’s Still-Untitled Comedy Starring Jean Smart

The 26-year-old part-Puerto Rican actor, singer, fashion blogger and photographer has landed a recurring role in HBO Max’s as-yet untitled comedy starring Jean Smart.

Indelicato, who rose to acclaim on ABC’s Ugly Betty, joins a cast that includes Hannah Einbinder, Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Kaitlin OlsonChristopher McDonald, Poppy LiuJohnny SibillyMeg Stalter and Rose Abdoo.

The series, from Universal Television and executive produced by Mike Schur, is set to premiere on HBO Max this spring. It hails from

Paul W. Downs, who will appear in a recurring role, Lucia Aniello and Jen Statsky.

Written by Downs, Aniello, who also directs, and Statsky, the comedy explores a dark mentorship that forms between Deborah Vance (Smart), a legendary Las Vegas comedian, and Ava, an entitled, outcast 25-year-old (Einbinder).

YouTube has rounded out the cast for Swipe Right, its multi-generational relationship comedy, with the 26-year-old half-Mexican American actor signing on as a celebrity guest star.

Rosanna Arquette and newcomer Chelsea Frei will join star Carly Craig as series regulars.

In addition to Posey, best known for his starring role on MTV’s Teen Wolf, celebrity guest stars include Jason Sudeikis, Rick Springfield, Peter Gallagher, Thomas Lennon, Bryan Greenberg, Charles Michael Davis, Christopher McDonald, Rhys Coiro, Craig Frank, Alice Lee and Sarah Burns.

Written by Craig and directed by Daniel Reisinger based on a true story by Craig, Swipe Right revolves around three women. A lifetime of saying no has left Olivia (Craig) single and miserable on her 35th birthday. In Swipe Right, this workaholic verging on a breakdown vows to plunge into the hellish world of Tinder by dating all 252 of her matches. She is spurred on by her sister Jayne (Frei), a young married woman experiencing a seven-year itch. The sisters are joined by their recently widowed mother, Mary (Arquette), who now also is a part of the online dating scene.

The eight-episode comedy series is slated to debut on YouTube Red in 2018.

Trailer Released for Leguizamo’s Thriller “The Crash”

John Leguizamo is ready to crash the box office…

The 52-year-old Colombian American actor is thisclose to a breakthrough in The Hollywood Reporter‘s exclusive clip of The Crash, which takes place at a future time when the U.S. economy is on the verge of another massive financial crisis.

The thriller stars Frank Grillo as Guy Clifton, a federally indicted stock trader who is secretly enlisted by the federal government to help thwart a cyber-attack aimed at the stock markets that could permanently cripple the economy. Having only ever been fueled by his love of money, he fully intends to use his insider knowledge of this world catastrophe for personal gain — until he unearths the organization behind the attack and discovers its motives.

In the film, Leguizamo plays George Diebold, a wheelchair-ridden stroke victim who is also the foremost expert on the stock market’s computer systems. The clip sees Dianna Agron consulting with him about how to find the source of the attack.

Written and directed by Aram Rappaport, the Vertical Entertainment release also stars Christopher McDonald, Minnie Driver, Maggie Q, AnnaSophia Robb, Mary McCormack, Ed Westwick and Andrew James Allen.

The Crash was released over the weekend in select theaters and on demand.

Martinez to Star in History’s “Texas Rising” Miniseries

Olivier Martinez’s stock is rising with a new project…

The 48-year-old half-Spanish actor has joined the cast of History’s miniseries Texas Rising (working title) from A+E Studios and ITV Studios America.

Executive produced by History’s Leslie Greif (Hatfields & McCoys), the project will detail the Texas Revolution against Mexico and the rise of the legendary Texas Rangers.

The miniseries, consisting of eight hour-long episodes, will be directed by Roland Joffé.

Martinez will portray Mexican general Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna.

Other members of the all-star cast include Christopher McDonald, Trevor Donovan, Bill Paxton, Brendan Fraser, Ray Liotta, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Thomas Jane, Chad Michael Murray, Michael Rapaport and Max Thieriot.
