Lela Loren’s Alteredlife is coming to light next month…
Netflix will launch season two of its ambitious sci-fi series Altered Carbon, starring the 39-year-old half-Mexican actress, on February 27.
In addition to Loren, who portrays Danica Harlan in season two, the series also stars Anthony Mackie, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Simone Missick, Chris Conner, Dina Shihabi and Torben Liebrecht. Will Yun Leeand James Saitoguest star.
Based on Richard K. Morgan’s classic sci-fi novels, Altered Carbonis from Skydance Television.
The synopsis from producers: “Set more than 300 years in the future in a society transformed by new technology: consciousness can be digitized; human bodies are interchangeable; death is no longer permanent. Season Two of the sophisticated and compelling sci-fi drama finds Takeshi Kovacs (Mackie), the lone surviving soldier of a group of elite interstellar warriors, continuing his centuries old quest to find his lost love Quellcrist Falconer (Goldsberry).
Loren is best known for her leading role as Angela “Angie” Valdes on the Starz television series, Power.
