She may be on an international mission to discover untapped Latin talent… But Jennifer Lopez isn’t afraid to show off her own skills!
While filming her new reality show Q’Viva: The Chosen in Uruguay, the 42-year-old Puerto Rican superestrella, was snapped kicking up the sand at Playa de los Ingleses in Montevideo’s residential area known as Punta Gorda.
La Lopez was actually practicing capoeira, a Brazilian art form that combines martial arts, sports and music.
Lopez, who was dressed casually in a cropped red top and jeans, spent approximately half an hour in Montevideo auditioning a group of dancers for her highly anticipated reality talent show. Prior to her time in Uruguay, she visited Lima, Santiago, Chile and Buenos Aires for Q’Viva.
Described as an effort “to create the ultimate live show celebrating Latin music, artistry and dance,” Q’viva is scheduled to air in 21 countries in North America, Central America and South America sometime in early 2012.
