Liza Colón-Zayas has new management…

The 51-year-old Puerto Rican actress has signed with Liebman Entertainment for management.

Liza Colón-Zayas,  Colón-Zayas can currently be seen as Tina in FX’s critically acclaimed comedy series, The Bear. The show received a 2023 SAG Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series and won a Television Critics Award for Outstanding New Program. The Bear has also received 13 Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series.

Colón-Zayas’ additional television credits include HBO’s In Treatment, opposite Uzo Aduba, the Latino comedy series Get Some!along with Law & Order, David Makes Man, Proven Innocent, Titans, Bull and Blue Bloods, among others.

Her film work includes Allswell in New York, Naked Singularity with Olivia Cooke and John BoyegaCat Person alongside Emilia Jones and Nicholas Braun and The Purge 3.

She will next be seen in John Krasinski’s upcoming feature Imaginary Friends, set for release in 2024.

On the stage, Colón-Zayas most recently starred in the Broadway performance of Stephen Adly GuirgisPulitzer Prize-winning dark comedy Between Riverside and Crazy, where she originated the role of Church Lady. Her off-Broadway credits include Between Riverside and Crazy (Lucille Lortel Award winner), Halfway Bitches Go Straight To Heaven (Drama Desk and Obie Award winner, Lucille Lortel Award nominee, Outer Critics Award honoree), Mary Jane (Lucille Lortel Award nominee), and Living Out (Lucille Lortel Award nominee). She is also a member The LAByrinth Theater Company.

Vladimir Caamaño To Star in CBS’ Drama Series “Tommy”

Vladimir “Vlad” Caamaño is joining the force…

The Dominican American comedian and actor has been added to cast of CBS’ upcoming drama Tommy as a series regular.

Tommy, from the Bull team of co-creator Paul Attanasio and producer Amblin Television, stars Edie Falco as Abigail “Tommy” Thomas, a former high-ranking NYPD officer who becomes the first female Chief of Police for Los Angeles. She uses her unflinching honesty and hardball tactics to navigate the social, political and national-security issues that converge with enforcing the law.

Caamaño plays an ebullient Dominican transplant from Tommy’s home city of New York, who becomes part of her security detail but also her off-the-shelf investigator as she solves crimes in pursuit of the truth.

The series-regular cast also includes Michael ChernusAdelaide ClemensRussell G. JonesThomas SadoskiOlivia Lucy Phillipand Joseph Lyle Taylor.

Caamaño previously wrote, produced and headlined his own semi-autobiographical comedy pilot for NBC, A Bronx Life.

His other credits include television appearances on Superstore, Marvel’s Runaways and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Cote de Pablo Executive-Producing New Detective Drama for CBS, “MIA”

Cote de Pablo is headed back to the Eye Network

The 38-year-old Chilean actress and singer and her fellow former NCIS cast member Michael Weatherly are reuniting to executive produce MIA, a new detective drama in the works at CBS.

The network has put in development the hour-long MIA, from writer/executive producer Shepard Boucher (Upload), and CBS Television Studios.

Written by Boucher, in MIA, when a newly minted homicide detective is assigned to an experienced, by-the-book partner to solve cases in Miami, she struggles to keep the personal entanglements of her final undercover assignment from jeopardizing her future.

Boucher executive produces with Weatherly and de Pablo. CBS Television Studios, where Weatherly via his Solar Drive Productionshas been under an overall deal, is the studio.

Weatherly, who currently stars in the title role in Bull, which is going into its third season on CBS, played lead Tony DiNozzo on the first 13 seasons of NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service.

Riesco to Star in in Showtime’s Hour-Long Drama “The Chi”

Armando Riesco is joining the force…

The 39-year-old Puerto Rican actor has landed a series regular role in Showtime’s hour-long drama The Chi.

Created/executive produced by Lena Waithe, The Chi is a coming-of-age story that follows a half-dozen interrelated characters in the South Side of Chicago.

Riesco will play a seasoned homicide detective working the turbulent streets of Chicago’s South Side neighborhoods. When one of his street informant’s kids gets murdered, he mistakenly gives him information that leads to a senseless death of yet another kid. The detective has a soft spot for some of his regulars and finds himself torn at times between his colleagues and his neighborhood.

Riesco most recently guest-starred on CBS’ drama Bull.

Riesco, well known for his stage work in New York, has also had recurring roles on Power and The Family.

Aguire to Star in CBS’ Untitled Family Cop Drama Pilot

Roberto Aguire is joining the police force…

The Mexican actor will star in CBS’ family cop drama pilot from Bull co-creator Paul AttanasioBlue Bloods executive producer Leonard Goldberg and co-EP/director David Barrett, and executive producer/director Rodrigo Garcia.

The plot of the CBS Television Studios-produced project centers on the multi-generational members of a Mexican-American family with deep roots in San Diego who intertwine personally and professionally due to their powerful careers in law enforcement.

Aguire will play Gustavo “Tavo” Medina, the middle child and undisputed “brain” of the Medina family who is a computer and technology expert with the San Diego Police Department.

Aguire joins David Castaneda in the pilot.

He most recently had a guest arc on Pretty Little Liars and also starred and co-produced the 2012 Chris Colfer film Struck by Lightning.

Castaneda to Star in CBS’ Untitled Family Cop Drama Pilot

The Latino actor, who has fielded multiple offers this pilot season, has landed a key series regular role in CBS’ family cop drama pilot from Bull co-creator Paul Attanasio and Blue Bloods executive producer Leonard Goldberg & co-EP/director David Barrett.

The Untitled Paul Attanasio Project centers on the multi-generational members of a Mexican-American family with deep roots in San Diego who intertwine personally and professionally due to their powerful careers in law enforcement.

Castaneda will play Bembe Medina, Chief Medina’s (TBD) son, a cop in Tijuana who works his beat with Yuni (TBD), his twin brother.

Rodrigo Garcia executive produces and directs.

Castaneda is coming off a starring role in feature Sicario. His other credits include a recurring role on Jane the Virgin and a guest role on Blindspot.
