El Rey Network Renews Garcia’s “From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series” for Third Season

El Rey Network has renewed From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, starring the 33-year-old Mexican/Spanish American actor, for a third season.

The announcements comes ahead of the show’s October 27 Season 2 finale.

A reimagining of Robert Rodriguez’s 1996 movie, which Miramax released theatrically at the time, the series expands on the supernatural crime saga revolving around brothers Seth and Richie Gecko.

Season 3 will continue their saga as they fight the culebra underworld.

D.J.Cotrona stars as Seth Gecko and Zane Holtz as Richie Gecko, along with Garcia, Eiza González, Wilmer Valderrama, Madison Davenport, Brandon Soo Hoo, Jake Busey, Danny Trejo, Esai Morales, Jeff Fahey and Briana Evigan.

Demi Lovato guest stars in the last two episodes of Season 2.

Season 2 was produced by Miramax in association with Rodriguez International Pictures, FactoryMade Ventures and Sugarcane Entertainment.

Morales to Star in Robert Rodriguez’s “From Dusk To Dawn: The Series”

It’s a new dawn for Esai Morales

The 51-year-old Puerto Rican actor has landed a recurring role on the upcoming second season of Robert Rodriguez’s From Dusk To Dawn: The Series.

Morales will portray Lord Amancio Malvado, a figure of terrifying cruelty and power who has a complicated and obsessive relationship with Santánico Pandemonium (portrayed by Eiza González).

He joins previously announced new cast members Danny Trejo and Briana Evigan.

El Rey Network’s first original scripted series, From Dusk Till Dawn is based on the cult classic film of the same name by El Rey co-founder Rodriguez, who created the series and directed four of the first season’s episodes.

Morales, currently a series regular on HBO’s The Brink, has previously appeared in Criminal Minds and NYPD Blue.

Ortiz to Star in the Reverse Gay-Bullying Drama “Love Is All You Need?”

The 43-year-old alf-Puerto Rican actress and Devious Maids star has joined the cast of the reverse gay-bullying drama Love Is All You Need?

The film is set in a world where being gay is the norm and heterosexual persons are bullied. The feature is based on the provocative short film of the same name that scored over 45 million hits on YouTube.

Ortiz joins a cast that includes Suburgatory’s Jeremy Sisto, Deception‘s Katherine La Nasa, Trophy Wife‘s Jenica Bergere, and Drumline‘s Leonard Roberts, as well as Briana Evigan, Emily Osment and Kyla Kennedy.

Director Kim Rocco Shields has also tapped Pretty Little LiarsTyler Blackburn for a lead role playing Ryan, the journalist who strikes up a forbidden romance with Evigan’s star quarterback.

Filming is currently underway in Los Angeles.

Trailer Released for Guzman’s “Step Up All In”

Lionsgate/Summit Entertainment has released the first official trailer for Step Up All In, starring the 26-year-old half-Mexican American actor.

For this latest Step Up film, the fifth installment of the movie franchise, Guzman and his fellow cast mates take the 3D dance action to Las Vegas.

In addition to Guzman, who first appeared in Step Up Revolution, the film also stars Step Up vets Briana Evigan (Step Up 2: The Streets), Stephen “tWitch” Boss, Misha Gabriel, Alyson Stoner and Adam Sevani.

The film is directed by first-time helmer Trish Sie.

Lionsgate/Summit will release Step Up All In on August 8.

Summit Entertainment has released the trailer for Step Up: All In, the fifth installment of the popular Step Up franchise, starring the 26-year-old half-Mexican American actor.

Guzman, who starred as Sean Asa in 2012’s Step Up Revolution, will see his character dance another day.

Director Trish Sie makes her feature film-helming debut with the 3D pic, which takes familiar characters from the Step Up films on a new Vegas-set danceventure scripted by John Swetnam.

Guzman and Briana Evigan lead the cast, which includes Izabella Miko and series returners Luis Rosado, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, Misha Gabriel, Alyson Stoner and Adam Sevani.

Step Up: All In will hit theaters in the United States on July 25, 2014.

Summit Entertainment has announced plans to release Step Up All In, starring the 26-year-old half-Mexican American actor, on July 25, 2014.

In this, the fifth chapter of the popular Step Up franchise, Guzman will reprise his role as Sean from 2012’s Step Up Revolution.

He’ll star opposite Step Up 2: The Street’s Briana Evigan in the Trish Sie-directed Step Up 5.

Guzman, who most recently appeared in a recurring role on ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars, has been cast opposite Jennifer Lopez in the thriller The Boy Next Door.

The 25-year-old half-Mexican actor and Step Up Revolution star will star opposite  Step Up 2: The Street’s Briana Evigan in the Summit Entertainment dance franchise Step Up 5.

Guzman and Evigan will reprise their roles as Sean and Andie, respectively, as the fivequel reunites more than a dozen cast members from previous films in the franchise.

Despite being rumored for another franchise appearance, original Step Up star Channing Tatum is not among the returning cast confirmed by the studio.

Fan favorites Adam Sevani (Moose), Misha Gabriel (Eddy), Alyson Stoner (Camille), Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss (Jason), Mari Koda (Jenny Kido), Chris Scott (Hair), Luis Rosado (Monster), Chadd Smith (Vladd AKA Robot Guy), and Martin & Facundo Lombard (The Santiago Twins) will return for the fifth film in the franchise.

Series dancers Marc “Marvelous” Iniss, Nolan Padilla, Phillip Chbeeb, Bianca Brewton, Tony Bellissimo, Josue “Beastmode” Figueroa and Brandy Lamkim will also return for the sequel being directed by Trish Sie.

Also joining Step Up 5 is Izabella Miko in a supporting role. Miko will play Alexxa, the entertainment director for luxury Vegas hotel Valhalla, who hosts a dance contest to find the best crew in the world. The winning team inks a three-year contract to perform in Vegas.
