The 32-year-old half-Latino actor will guest star on Dick Wolf’s NBC series Chicago Med.
Mora will appear in the series’ current season.
He plays Mike, a blue-collar truck driver in his 30s whose ex-wife brings their baby to the ER.
Chicago Med, in its sixth season, continues to draw strong ratings for NBC. In Live+7, it is among the top three dramas on every Wednesday night of originals in the 2020-21 season-to-date.
Chicago Med airs Wednesdays at 8:00 pm ET/PT on NBC. It is produced by Wolf Entertainment in association with Universal Television, a division of the Universal Studio Group.
20th Century Fox has released the new trailer for its threequel War for the Planet of the Apes, starring the 27-year-old Latino actor.
Fox has been building momentum for Matt Reeves’ latest Planet of theApes film, which hits theaters July 14.
The movie was written by Mark Bomback and Reeves. The story picks up as Caesar (Andy Serkis) and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless, head-shaved Colonel (Woody Harrelson) — his line: “There are times when it is necessary to abandon your humanity to save humanity.”
After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins a quest to avenge his kind, leading to an epic battle that will determine the fate of both species and the future of the planet.
Chavarria portrays Preacher in the film.
His previous credits include the television programs East Los High, Aquarius, Gang Related and Major Crimes, as well as the film Lowriders.
The 66-year-old Brazilian actress has been cast in ABC’s drama pilot Las Reinas in a co-starring role.

Liz Friedlander has been tapped to direct the pilot after co-creating, executive producing and directing the pilot for another Mark Gordon Co./ABC Studios project, the freshman ABC drama seriesConviction.

Mendonca Filho is being recognized for helming the Brazilian–French drama Aquarius, starring Sonia Braga as Clara, a retired music writer and the last resident of Aquarius building, who refuses to sell her apartment to a construction company that intends to replace it with a new edifice.
The film was selected to compete for the Palme d’Or at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.

The film’s sequel, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, grossed $708 million worldwide last year with Reeves at the helm, nearly double the business of the franchise reboot— a major score for Fox and producer Chernin Entertainment.
