Peacock has green lit the third season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, with a brand-new group of Housewives on board including the 55-year-old Cuban entrepreneur and reality television star.
This season, the wives will jet off to exotic Thailand. Season three premiere date will be announced at a later time, according to the streamer
The cast includes Housewives Candiace Dillard Bassett and Gizelle Bryant of “The Real Housewives of Potomace: Echevarriaand Marysol Patton of The Real Housewives of Miami” Heather Gay and Whitney Rose of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Leah McSweeney of The Real Housewives of New York City and Porsha Williams The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
Executive producers for the series are Lisa Shannon, Dan Peirson, Darren Ward, John Paparazzo, Glenda Cox and Andy Cohen. Co-EPs are Shanae Humphrey, Alfonso Rosales and Scott Kolbicz. The series is produced by Shed Media.
The 51-year-old Guatemalan American actor will take part in a special Pride Celebration fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee next week.
Vice President Kamala Harris will headline the event, which will include a number of performances and an introduction by Barbra Streisand.
The DNC traditionally hosts a Pride month event, but the fundraiser also speaks to the desire among party activists to have a large war chest heading into next year’s midterms.
The performers on the bill for the virtual event on June 30 include Andra Day, Billy Porter, Kristin Chenoweth and Melissa Etheridge.
In addition to Domingo, other stars making appearances include Andy Cohen, George Takei, Matt Bomer and Whoopi Goldberg.
Tickets to the event start at $50, and rise to $20,000 for a co-host designation and access to a VIP “clutch.” Those who write or raise $40,000 will get a host designation and access to the clutch. The New York Times first reported on the event.
The DNC raised $12.1 million in May, according to reports to the Federal Election Commission, while the Republican National Committee raised about $11.1 million. Those are hefty sums for an off-year period and, according to Bloomberg News, a record amount.
Last year, as the pandemic prevented in-person fundraising, Democrats capitalized on the ease of holding virtual events, both in drawing talent and in bringing in greater numbers of small-dollar donors.
Mariah Carey is celebrating the true heroes of 2020 the best way she knows how…
The 51-year-old half-Venezuelan American Grammy-winning chanteuse appeared during Robin Hood and iHeart Radio‘s Heroes of New York event on Tuesday night (December 1) to perform a special medley of her chart-topper “Hero,” “Joy to the World” and David Bowie‘s “Heroes.”
“Seven months ago, New York had its back against the wall. Our neighbors needed help, and Robin Hood reached out to us for our support. New Yorkers answered the call and stepped up,” Carey said in her introduction, before dedicating her number to “the thousands of heroes in New York who did their part to help put our city back on the road to full recovery.”
From there, Carey launched into the hook of Bowie’s classic 1977 single before seamlessly transitioning into her own, similarly named, smash released 17 years later during her Music Box era.
“No nothing could tear us away/ We could be heroes just for one day/ We could be heroes just for one day/ And then a hero comes along/ With the strength to carry on/ And you cast your fears aside/ And you know you/ So when you feel like hope is gone/ Look inside you and be strong/ And you’ll finally see the truth That a hero lies in, a hero lies in you/ That a hero lies in you,” Carey sang from her home studio.
Finally, the star closed out the medley with a passionate, melisma-filled take on “Joy to the World” while backed by a virtual choir.
The one-hour special also featured appearances by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, Andy Cohen, Jon Stewart, Kelly Ripa and more, with a special performance of “Smile” by Tony Bennett.

A memoir by the 49-year-old half-Venezuelan American Grammy-winning singer is on the list of titles from Andy Cohen Books.
Henry Holt and Company announced this week that Cohen’s self-named imprint will launch in 2020. It says the imprint will feature three non-fiction works by women.
Carey’s memoir will be about her journey to superstar status.
She rose to fame in the early 1990s after signing to Columbia Records and releasing her eponymous debut album, which topped the U.S. Billboard 200 for eleven consecutive weeks. Soon after, Carey became the only artist ever to have their first five singles reach number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, from “Vision of Love” to “Emotions“.
Following her marriage to Sony Music head Tommy Mottola, Carey achieved worldwide success with follow-up albums Music Box, Merry Christmas, and Daydream.
The other works are The Queen V, by Dr. Jacqueline Waters, a cast member on Bravo’s Married to Medicine, and Bodacious Dreamsand Bevelations, by Bevy Smith, a former co-host of Page Six TV.
Cohen is the TV producer behind the Real Housewives Bravo franchise and host of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
Holt is the publisher of Cohen’s three best sellers: Most Talkative, The Andy Cohen Diaries and Superficial.
The 46-year-old half-Venezuelan singer/actress will receive the Giving Me Life Achievement Award at Bravo Media’s The Bravos.
Urban Dictionary defines “giving me life” as anything that you get excited or pumped about; anything that makes you laugh emphatically.
Carey has been chosen to receive the biggest honor at the Bravos, the Giving Me Life Achievement Award. The singer stopped by Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live! in May and worked her divaness to the hilt — showing up late, throwing shade at Jennifer Lopez and revealing she turned down a role in Empire because it didn’t have enough “character arc.”
The Bravos are a new pop-culture-infused fan awards show premiering July 20 at 10:00 pm.
The show will “look at some of the buzziest, most memorable moments from Bravo and beyond,” according to Bravo.
Fans will vote for stars in 12 categories such as The Susan Lucci Award for Best Performance in a Reality Show, and Don’t Call It A Comeback Award.
Andy Cohen is set to host the awards show.
The Bravos will be available on-air, online and VOD.
Forget My Best Friend’s Wedding… Cameron Diaz will be heading down the aisle in the near future.
The half-Cuban American actress is engaged to Good Charlotte‘s Benji Madden, according to People.
“It happened a few nights ago,” a Madden pal tells the magazine about the proposal. “All of Benji’s friends are aware and happy for him.”
Spending quality time with Diaz’s family in Florida earlier this year, the rocker went the traditional route when asking for his future wife’s hand in marriage.
“Her mom is a fan of him as well and gave her blessing,” says the pal.
Diaz, who starred opposite Julia Roberts in My Best Friend’s Wedding, started dating the musician in May after Nicole Richie set them up (Richie is married to Madden’s twin brother Joel).
“I approve of anything that’s going to make Benj happy,” Richie told Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen in July.
“Since she started dating Benji, Cameron has changed in a very positive way,” a source said earlier this year. “She can’t stop smiling and seems much happier.”
This is the first engagement for Madden, 35, and the second for the Annie star. She was briefly engaged to Jared Leto in 2000 and previously dated Alex Rodriguez, Justin Timberlake, Matt Dillon, Diddy and Edward Norton.
The 34-year-old half-Puerto Rican actor/musician and “culture vulture” will be reuniting with his Queer Eye for the Straight Guy cast mates to celebrate the hit reality series’ big anniversary.
Queer Eye for the Straight Guy was a surprise hit when it premiered back in July 2003, adding the “make-better” to the pop culture conversation and sending Bravo on its reality television track.
Now the cable channel is celebrating the five-season series with Queer Eye Reunion: 10 Years Later, an Andy Cohen-hosted gathering of the “Fab Five”: Rodriguez, Ted Allen, Kyan Douglas, Thom Filicia and Carson Kressley.
Along with discussing the Emmy-winning show — whose title was shortened toQueer Eye after Season 3 — the men will highlight behind-the-scenes secrets and discuss how their lives have changed in the past decade.
Mariah Carey didn’t just host a fundraiser for President Barack Obama recently… She also performed a new song that she wrote in his honor.
During the star-studded event at New York City’s Plaza Hotel on Thursday night, the 42-year-old part-Venezuelan singer performed “Bring It On Home,” a triumphantly inspirational ballad, similar to Carey’s hit “Hero.”
“Just finished performing Hero, We Belong Together and BRING IT ON HOME — a song I wrote especially for the event,” Carey tweeted, posting a photo of herself in a black ball gown.
Before the Plaza party, President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama attended Sarah Jessica Parker‘s presidential fundraiser at the actress’ Manhattan home.
Meryl Streep, Project Runwayjudge Michael Kors,Vogue‘sAnna Wintour and Bravo‘s Andy Cohen were among the celebrities in attendance.
Parker introduced Obama at the event, giving him a hug and kiss and saying those in attendance were gathered “hopefully, with enormous enthusiasm.” She also called Michelle Obama “radiant and extraordinary” and said she had been doing “amazingly important things these last four years.”
