Rising Star DJ Avila Releases “Breaking Your Fall” Remixes

He wouldn’t even be old enough to vote in the United States, but Danny Avila has already become one of the hottest acts in the world of electronic dance music (EDM).

The 17-year-old Spanish wunderkind, who won the Best Newcomer DJ award at the prestigious 2011 Vicious Music Awards at just 16, has just released a remix package for his propulsive single “Breaking Your Fall.” And, in support of the five new taked on his debut single, Avila has released a Mega Mix of tracks, launching exclusively on Billboard.com.

Avila, who was included on Billboard‘s 21 Under 21: Ones To Watch list of new artists last year, has played on bills led by dance superstars like David Guetta, Afrojack and Martin Solveig.

From his extraordinary 2012 Ibiza season that caught the attention of everyone including Tiësto and dance bible DJ Mag where he became the youngest ever Covermount CD artist to the announcement of his residency as the youngest ever prime-time deejay on SiriusXM, Avila has captured the world’s attention with his talent.

Following the release of “Breaking Your Fall” last year, the new remixes were helmed by Lucky Date, Mikael Weermets, dBerrie and SICK INDIVIDUALS.

The remix package precedes Avila’s involvement on the Generation Wild Tour 2013, which will run through North America beginning on January 31 in Chicago. Deniz Koyu, dBerrie and Mikael Weermets will join the teen producer on the trek.

Shakira Collaborates with Pitbull on “Get It Started”

The wait is over… Shakira’s finally back with a new single… And, this time around she’s getting it started with Pitbull

The 35-year-old Colombian singer/songwriter has collaborated with Mr. Worldwide on “Get It Started,” which has been leaked on the web.

The dancetastic track starts off with an introduction by the 31-year-old Cuban-American rap superstar before Shakira belts the song’s catchy chorus.

Produced by RedOne and Afrojack, “Get It Started”—which name-checks several celebrities, including Tom Cruise and boxers Manny Pacquiao and Muhammad Ali–will reportedly appear on Pitbull’s forthcoming studio album, “Global Warming,” which is expected to be released in the U.S. later this year.

Meanwhile,  Shakira will reportedly come out with a new album sometime before the end of 2012.

Pitbull previously appeared on Shakira’s single “Rabiosa,” which was part the superstar’s Latin Grammy-winning album Sale el Sol.

He has topped the music charts several times in the last year with his highly addictive hits songs… And now Pitbull is standing on top of the world in his latest music video.

The 30-year-old Cuban American rap superstar has released the clip for his latest single “International Love,” which features Chris Brown.

Standing atop a skyscraper, Pitbull gazes down on the world and whips his tie around while singing, “I don’t play football, but I touch down everywhere!”

Mr. Worldwide—who could soon be making an appearance on Fox’s hit musical dramedy Glee—even commands the explosion of fireworks at will, while dancing on top of the world with Brown and a bevy of body-painted beauties.

Meanwhile, “International Love” climbs to No. 56 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart.
