A24 Releases Trailer for Henrique Zaga’s New Film “Warfare”

A24 has released the first trailer for Warfare, starring the 31-year-old Brazilian actor and Noah Centineo.

Henrique ZagaThe film is described as an immersive step into the reality of the Iraq War from the Navy SEAL’s perspective, which hits theaters in 2025.

Written and directed by Ray Mendoza and Alex Garland, Warfare embeds audiences with a platoon of U.S. Navy SEALs in the home of an Iraqi family, overwatching the movement of U.S. forces through insurgent territory.

A visceral, boots-on-the-ground story of modern warfare, told like never before: in real time and based on the memory of the people who lived it.

The ensemble film’s cast includes D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Will Poulter, Cosmo Jarvis, Kit Connor, Finn Bennett, Taylor John Smith, Michael Gandolfini, Adain Bradley, Noah Centineo, Evan Holtzman, Henrique Zaga, Joseph Quinn and Charles Melton.

An Iraq War veteran, Mendoza came to partner with Garland on Warfare after serving as his military supervisor on Civil War, his dystopian drama, starring Kirsten Dunst, Wagner Moura and Cailee Spaeny, which released this spring., grossing over $126 million worldwide.

Humberly González to Star in Screen Gems & Alloy Entertainment’s Thriller “Horrorscope”

The 25-year-old Venezuelan actress will star in Screen Gems and Alloy Entertainment’s film Horrorscope, based on Alloy’s same-name novel, written by Nicholas Adams.

Humberly GonzálezGonzalez will appear opposite leads Jacob BatalonAlana Boden, Adain Bradley and Avantika. Wolfgang Novogratz will also star in the project.

Anna Halberg and Spenser Cohen wrote the script and will make their feature film directorial debut.

Leslie Morgenstein and Elysa Koplovitz Dutton are producing through Alloy, along with Scott Glassgold of Ground Control. Cohen and Halberg are also on board to executive produce.

The story follows a group of college friends who, after getting their horoscopes read, begin dying in ways connected to their fortunes. Are their fates fatal or can they change what’s written in the stars?

The film is set for a fall start and is being overseen by Scott Strauss, Michael Bitar and Lariah Perara at Screen Gems.

González recently wrapped shooting Season 2 of the Netflix series Ginny & Georgia reprising her breakout role as Sophie. She will next be seen opposite Jason Momoa in the Netflix feature Slumberland. She also recently starred in the Universal feature Nobody and the Netflix series Jupiter’s Legacy.
