Latina talent Ines del Castillo is nominated in the Fiction category for her being part of the narration cast of Dawnie Walton’s The Final Revival of Opal & Nev.
Salvadoran American actor, writer, visual artist and performer Herbert Sigüenza is nominated in the History/Biograpgy category for his work on A Weekend with Pablo Picasso, which he wrote and performed for L.A. Theatre Works.
Oscar-nominated actress Marina De Tavira is among the Latinx nominees in the Spanish Language category.
The 48-year-old Mexican actress is nominated for narrarating Valeria Luiselli’s novel Desierto Sonoro.
Other nominees for this year’s awards include Foo Fighters‘ Dave Grohl, Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Cynthia Erivo, John Lithgow, Jamie Foxx, Outlander star Sam Heughan and Bryce Dallas Howard.
Winners will revealed on March 4 in 25 categories by the Audio Publishers Association at a ceremony hosted by Kal Penn and livestreamed on the group’s website.
