Spectrum Releases Season 2 Trailer for Jessica Alba’s Series “L.A’s Finest”

Spectrum Originals has set premiere date for the delayed Season 2 of its cop show L.A’s Finest, starring the 39-year-old half-Mexican American actress, along with releasing the official trailer for the second season.

The LAPD actioner starring Alba and Gabrielle Union was supposed to debut on June 8, but the massive protests over George Floyd’s killing two weeks earlier — which included lockdown curfews in Los Angeles — led Spectrum to table it

All 13 episodes of its sophomore run will now be available on Wednesday, September 9.

Season 1 of L.A.’s Finest — which will have its broadcast premiere on Monday, September 21 on Fox — followed Syd Burnett (Union), who was last seen in Miami taking down a drug cartel and left her complicated past to become an LAPD detective. Paired with a new partner, Nancy McKenna (Alba), a working mom with an equally complex history, Syd was forced to confront how her unapologetic lifestyle was masking a greater personal secret. Taking on the most dangerous criminals in Los Angeles while skirting the rules, and speed limits, Syd and Nancy became a force to be reckoned with – on the streets, and in each other’s lives.
