Spain’s popular drama series Los misterios de Laura is getting an American makeover…
NBC has ordered a cast-contingent pilot for the Warner Bros. Television-produced drama The Mysteries of Laura.
The network had given a production commitment to The Mysteries of Laura, a drama project from writer Jeff Rake, last August.
FromGreg Berlanti’s Berlanti Productions and Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment, the project follows the life and relationships of a female homicide detective who can handle murderous criminals — but not her evil twins.
Rake will executive produce with Berlanti and Kaplan
The original series, created by Carlos Vila and Javier Holgado, currently in its third season on TVE1 Spain. The series stars María Pujalte, Fernando Guillén Cuervo, Oriol Tarrasón, César Camino, Laura Pamplona and Eva Santolaria.
