Alvaro Soler is making waves under the American sun…
The 24-year-old Spanish singer-songwriter is scaling Billboard‘s Latin charts with the Jennifer Lopez-assisted version of his breakout hit “El Mismo Sol.”
The track, which first took hold in Europe earlier in 2015, moves 50-25 in its second week on the Latin Airplay chart. It reached No. 1 on the charts in Italy and Switzerland.
Additionally, the song leaps 44-34 on the Hot Latin Songs chart.
The collaborative effort also boasts an English version, “El Mismo Sol (Under the Same Sun).”
The song is the lead single from Soler’s debut studio album Eterno Agosto.
