The 34-year-old Colombian superstar will reportedly record a brand new duet with former Disney star Miley Cyrus to raise money for children with serious heart problems.
Entitled “Love & Rock,” the single is expected to be released on Valentine’s Day this year. In addition, Shakira and the “Can’t Be Tamed” singer will reportedly sing the tune at a charity gala on February 14, before releasing a music video for the track.
Shakira and Cyrus previously recorded charity songs for Haiti… Miley participated in the “We Are the World 25 for Haiti” single, while Shakira took part in “Somos El Mundo 25 Por Haiti.”
She collaborated with Beyoncé on “Beautiful Liar,” which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and won won the Most Earth-Shattering Collaboration award at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards.
