The 43-year-old Colombian superstar has finally released her “Me Gusta” video with Puerto Rican trap singer Anuel AA.
The surreal clip, directed by Drew Kirsch, shows Shakira and Anuel AA living a high fashion life style while traveling on a train.
Anuel appears cooking while Shakira sings into an old yellow hair dryer on the table, showing off a series of ever-changing hair colors and honoring Japanese culture with her costumes.
“Me Gusta” is an upbeat reggaeton trap tune that follows the “Chantaje” (with Maluma) style.
The single includes a few seconds of Inner Circle’s “Sweat,” which repeats several times throughout the song as part of the chorus.
Shakira is currently in the studio working on new music, which will be released later in 2020, with a tour to follow in 2021.
