Fairly Legal is barelyhistory… But Sarah Shahi’s already lining up more high-profile work.
The 33-year-old half-Spanish actress, currently appearing in a recurring role on Chicago Fire after the cancellation of her USA series, has landed yet another recurring role on CBS’ drama Person Of Interest.
Shahi will play Shaw, a fearless, sexy and witty operative in a secret paramilitary organization that tracks and eliminates terrorists before they can act.
“If James Bond and Sarah Connor had a kid, Shaw would kick its ass,” said the show’s creator/executive producer Jonathan Nolan about the former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader’s role.
Shahi will first appear in the February 21 episode, entitled “Relevance,” which Nolan will direct.
Shahi has been booked for a major arc this season, but she could come back to the series in Season 3.
