Santiago Mitre is having a golden moment…
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has revealed this year’s Golden Globe winners, with the 42-year-old Argentine film director and screenwriter picking up his first trophy from the HFPA.
Mitre picked up the award for Best Motion Picture, Non-English Language for his acclaimed film Argentina, 1985, which stars Ricardo Darin and Peter Lanzani.
Meanwhile, Guillermo del Toro has picked up his second career Golden Globe.
The 58-year-old Mexican Oscar-winning filmmaker won the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture, Animated for Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio.
