Make that 37 hits for Ricky Martin…
The 46-year-old Puerto Rican superstar has notched his 37th top 10 hit on Billboard’s Latin Pop Songs airplay chart, as his new single “Fiebre,” featuring Wisin & Yandel, lifts 15-9 in its third week on the list.
The track jumps 23 percent in spins at the format in the week ending March 11, according to Nielsen Music.
The song was released on February 23, following Martin’s live performance of the tune at the Dubai Jazz Festival.
Notably, out of Martin’s 48 charting titles on the Latin Pop Songs chart, 37 have reached the top 10. He continues to have the second-most top 10s in the tally’s 23-year history, trailing only Enrique Iglesias, with 41.
“Fiebre” is Martin’s first new entry on the chart since “Vente Pa’ Ca,” featuring Maluma, bowed on the list dated October 15, 2016. It peaked at No. 1 for two weeks (November 5-12).
