Ricky Martin is ready to rodeo…
Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo officials have released its 2022 entertainer lineup, with the 50-year-old Puerto Rican singer, songwriter and actor set to perform for the first time ever.
The multi-week event, featuring acts from a range of genres, including country, Contemporary Christian, EDM, R&B, pop and more, runs from February 28-March 20 at NRG Stadium.
Martin is scheduled to perform on Friday, March 4.
But he isn’t the only Latin act set to take the stage this year…
Los Tucanes de Tijuana will perform on Sunday, March 6. The Mexican band previously performed in 2000.
Other performers include Dierks Bentley, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, For King & Country, Sam Hunt, Cody Johnson, Journey, Khalid, Marshmello, Tim McGraw, Maren Morris, Brad Paisley, Chris Stapleton, Gwen Stefani, George Strait, Keith Urban.
The weekday rodeos will begin at 6:45 p.m. CT, with the entertainer performing at around 8:45 p.m. The NRG Stadium gates open at 6 p.m. Weekend rodeo shows begin at 3:45 p.m. CT, with the entertainer taking the stage at NRG Stadium 5:45 p.m. CT. The NRG Stadium gates open at 3 p.m.
