She may be known for her deadpan-style of comedy on NBC’s hilarious series Parks and Recreation, but Aubrey Plaza is flipping the script in her latest project.
The 27-year-old half-Puerto Rican actress/comedian plays all sorts of crazy in the music video for “Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings” from the Fleet Foxes’ former drummer J. Tillman.
Under the pseudonym Father John Misty, Tillman has released the song as the lead single off his forthcoming debut album Fear Fun, which will be released on May 1, as well as the video for the track.
Named for one L.A.’s oldest burial grounds, the song is a bit of a departure from Fleet Foxes’ musical stylings.
“We created this trippy funeral scene in Laurel Canyon,” Plaza told Entertainment Weekly back in December. “I play a crazy person who destroys the funeral.”
From wiping her bloody nose and eating flowers to throwing furniture and smoking apples, there’s no denying Plaza goes certifiably crazy in the clip!
