The Soka and Brazilian-funk peppered track made its first chart visit as it arrived at No. 9 the Tropical Airplay chart (dated Sept. 18) with only a day of airplay. After its first full tracking week, it takes over atop Latin Airplay with 11.3 million in audience impressions, a 643% gain, earned in the week ending Sept. 19, according to Ozuna.

With “La Funka,” Ozuna secures his 25th No. 1 on the all-Latin airplay ranking and breaks from a tie with Daddy Yankee for the third-most champs since the chart began in 1994. He trails Enrique Iglesias and J Balvin’s 31 leaders.

“La Funka” follows three other rulers that arrived in 2021: “Despeinada,” with Camilo (one week, Feb. 6), “Travesuras,” with Nio García, Ozuna, Ozuna, Yandel, Myke Towers and Flow La Movie (one week, March 6) and “Tiempo” (Juen 26-dated list).

Beyond its Latin Airplay coronation, “La Funka” pushes up Tropical Airplay 9-1, his third ruler there.

Over on the all-metric Hot Latin Songs chart, the track arrives at No. 28. Ozuna extends his second-most entries with 100 charted titles. Bad Bunny continues at the lead with a total of 117.
