It’s a perfect 10 for Nicky Jam…
The 38-year-old Puerto Rican and Dominican Americansinger and songwriter and Ozuna’s “Te Robare” rises 4-1 on Billboard’s current Latin Airplay chart dated July 27, giving Nicky Jam his 10th No. 1.
It’s Ozuna’s 11th No. 1 on the chart.
The track collected 13.5 million audience impressions in the week ending July 21 (up 25%), according to Nielsen Music.
The Chris Jeday and Gaby Music-produced track, the first single off Nicky Jam’s forthcoming eighth studio album, also leads Billboard’s Latin Rhythm Airplay list with a matching 4-1 sprint.
On Latin Airplay, “Te Robaré” bests the Puerto Ricans’ last collaboration, “Te Boté,” alongside Casper Mágico, Nio García, Darell and Bad Bunny. It peaked at No. 2 on September 8, 2018. (Jam and Ozuna notched another hit before that, with the No. 7-peaking “Bonita” in 2017 with J Balvin, Jowell & Randy and Yandel.)
“Te Robaré” hits No. 1 almost a year after Nicky Jam’s last No. 1 on the tally: his featured role on Karol G’s “Mi Cama,” with J Balvin, landed atop the August 25, 2018-dated list.
On the Hot Latin Songs chart, which blends airplay, digital sales, and streams, “Te Robaré” regains its top 10 position bumping 11-10 after a two-week run outside the top tier.
