He made Kelly Clarkson do a double-take at this year’s Grammys… And, now Miguel will get the chance to make more celebrities take notice.
The 27-year-old half-Mexican singer will perform at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, which will air live on ABC from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas next month.
No word yet on what song Miguel, who avoided the sophomore slump with his critically acclaimed second album Kaleidoscope Dream, will perform.
But Miguel isn’t the only Hispanic artist set to perform…
Bruno Mars, who recently earned his first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, has been scheduled to take the stage as well.
Other performers include Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Prince, who will be honored with the Billboard Icon Award during the broadcast.
In addition to performing, Miguel, Mars, Swift and Biever are each up for the new fan-driven Milestone Award, a fan-voted award.
The Band Perry and Pitbull are also up for Milestone honors. Voting is now open on Billboard.com/milestone.
The show will air Sunday, May 19 at 8/7c on ABC.
