Miguel is ready to show you love…
The 33-year-old half-Mexican American R&B singer/songwriter has joined voices with Alicia Keys on the vulnerable “Show Me Love,” the first single off of her seventh studio album.
Keys released the track, as well as launched a “visual sonic installation” to the powerful song, which stars actor Michael B. Jordan, Zoe Saldana, and husband Marco Perego Saldana.
Cara Strickerhelped execute Keys’ vision behind the lens, piecing together slow-motion one-shot scenes to display a visual representation of love’s enduring journey. “I have been on this journey to be more vulnerable; in my life, in my music; and this new visual experience reflects this time,” said the New York City native. “Show me loves displays different expressions of love, the journey of it, the push and pull, the struggle and the eventual joy and peace.”
For those in the New York City area, the visual sonic installation will be open to the public from September 18 through Sept. 22 at Dolby SoHo. Keys actually popped up at the debut of the installation to bless fans with a surprise “Show Me Love” performance alongside Miguel at the NYC store location.
