Bruno Mars is giving his fans an early Christmas present…
The 27-year-old part-Puerto Rican singer, who recently released the oh-so-somber “When I Was Your Man,” has just made his sophomore album Unortodox Jukebox available for full streaming.
The move comes a week ahead of the album’s official release date of December 11 as a way to create more buzz for the set.
Atlantic Records, Mars’ record label, has even made it an interactive experience for online listeners. They’ll have the chance to play the album via an interactive jukebox as they stream each of the 10 tracks.
The Grammy-winning singer has already released a few singles from the album, including “Moonshine“, “Young Girls“, “When I Was Your Man” and “Locked Out of Heaven.”
Mars – the project’s executive producer – co-wrote the album with his production/songwriting team, The Smeezingtons, which consists of Philip Lawrence, Ari Levine and himself.
Mars has said in separate interviews with Billboard and VH1 that “this is me going into the studio and recording and writing whatever I want. This album represents my freedom. Just being inspired by all different styles of music and isn’t that what music should be?”
