Make that six smash hits for Maluma…
The 23-year-old Colombian singer-songwriter has earned his sixth No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart (dated Aug. 26), as “Felices Los 4” rises 2-1 in its 16th week on the chart.
The single claims the Latin Airplay chart’s Greatest Gainer honors, leaping 19 percent to 22 million audience impressions in the week ending August 10, according to Nielsen Music.
The song also holds steady at No. 3 on the Hot Latin Songs chart for the fourth straight week—it previously spent seven weeks at its No. 2 peak, trailing Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito,” featuring Justin Bieber. The Hot Latin Songs chart blends airplay with sales and streaming data.
The move of “Felices Los 4” from 2-1 on Latin Airplay halts the reign of Romeo Santos’ “Imitadora,” which ruled the chart for four consecutive weeks and falls to No. 2 in its eighth week on the tally.
Additionally, “Felices Los 4” currently stands at No. 61 on the Billboard Hot 100, down from its No. 48 peak on the August 5-dated chart.
