There’s plenty of love for Demi Lovato and her musical talents…
The 19-year-old part-Mexican singer/actress—who performed her first Spanish duet with Spanish rising star Pablo Alborán at the Latin Grammys last month—will be taking the stage at the 38th annual People’s Choice Awards.
Lovato, the former star of Disney’s Sonny with a Chance will be performing a yet-to-be-determined single during the show.
“Demi is a brilliant performer, a strong role model and a true fan favorite,” said the show’s executive producer Mark Burnett in statement. “We’re thrilled to have her on board for the People’s Choice Awards and look forward to a truly electrifying performance.”
Lovato, who will be helping MTV viewers ring in 2012 with her BFF Selena Gomez, is a three-time People’s Choice Award winner, most recently winning the Favorite Breakout Artist award in 2009.
She’s currently nominated for Favorite Pop Artist along with Beyonce, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Rihanna.
The People’s Choice Awards will be broadcast live from Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre on January 11, 2012 on CBS at 9:00 pm ET.
