Louis C.K. has his eye on a brand new comedy series for the “Eye Network”…
The 44-year-old part-Mexican actor/comedian and Emmy-nominated FX star—who recently donated some of the proceeds from his web-only comedy special to charity—has just received a comedy pilot order from CBS.
Louis C.K. is teaming with Spike Feresten (Seinfeld) to develop the untitled project, an ensemble comedy about “young people trying to achieve their creative dreams in these tough financial times.”
It has Louis C.K., Feresten, Gail Berman, Lloyd Braun and Gene Stein as executive producers.
No word on whether Louis C.K. will star in the show, which was reportedly conceived by the former SNL writer and Feresten some 13 years ago.
