The 16-member Mexican banda sinaloense, better known as La Banda MS, has earned its first No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart.
Their new album En Vivo: Guadalajara-Monterrey debuts with 2,000 copies sold.
The live set is the band’s ninth charting album, and follows No Me Pidas Perdon, which reached No. 2 (a 3,000 start, chart dated July 12, 2014).
Additionally, Banda Sinaloense spends a third week in the top 10 on the Hot Latin Songs chart with “Piensalo” (No. 6), growing two percent in streams (to 620,000).
Meanwhile, “Me Gusta Tu Vieja” enters Hot Latin Songs at No. 50, becoming the act’s fifth track to chart in 2015.
