The 32-year-old half Brazilian actress has been cast in Netflix’s feature film adaptation of the Ruth Ware bestselling novel The Woman in Cabin 10.
Scodelario is among a roster of new cast additions for the Keira Knightley project that includes Guy Pearce, Hannah Waddingham, David Ajala, Gitte Witt, Art Malik, Daniel Ings, David Morrissey, Christopher Rygh, Paul Kaye, Lisa Loven Kongsli and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
The Woman in Cabin 10 follows a journalist who witnesses a passenger being thrown overboard a luxury yacht at night — only to be told that it didn’t happen as all the passengers and crew are accounted for. Despite no one believing her, she continues to look for answers, putting her own life in danger.
