Juanes is ready to celebrate a man and his music…
The 43-year-old Colombian musician has added to the list of all-star performers taking the stage as part of a television special to commemorate Frank Sinatra’s 100th birthday.
Juanes joins a roster that includes Tony Bennett, Celine Dion, Lady Gaga and Usher, among many other Grammy winners and nominees.
Additionally, Seth MacFarlane and country singer Trisha Yearwood have been added to the primetime tribute Sinatra 100 — An All-Star GRAMMY Concert.
Music director for the celebration and three-time Grammy winner Don Was said of the event, “In paying homage to Mr. Sinatra’s music and treating his legacy with the utmost respect, most of the artists will sing arrangements as originally crafted for Mr. Sinatra by giants Don Costa, Gordon Jenkins, Quincy Jones, and Nelson Riddle. It’s going to be an incredible show!”
Along with being one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold more than 150 million records worldwide, Sinatra, also starred in the Emmy-winning television special Frank Sinatra: A Man and His Music.
The special will air Sunday, Dec. 6 on CBS.
