The 28-year-old Colombian singer/songwriter and Grammy hopeful has released the new single “No Sweat” after it was teased in a Secret deodorant commercial.
Reyez shot the commercial earlier this month with Riverdale actress Camila Mendes and Olympic Gold Medalist Swin Cash.
The track is from her forthcoming debut album, Before Love Came to Kill Us, which she’ll release on March 27 via FMLY.
“Yeah, girls on the floor got a 30-point lead and a minute left,” she starts off the dance-ready feminist banger. “Yeah, you workin’ hard for the tough spot, just watch it manifest/ I’m a rose and a king at the same time; that’s what a woman is.”
Reyez tweeted the news, saying, “My album is done. It’s called Before Love Came to Kill Us. It’s coming on March 27th and you can pre-save it and pre-order it this Thursday.”
Reyez is currently up for her first Grammy this weekend for best urban contemporary album for her 2018 EP Being Human in Public.
