J Balvin is heating up the digital charts…
The 34-year-old Colombian urban singer’s collaboration with dancehall trio Major Lazer and El Alfa, “Que Calor,” has raced to the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Latin Digital Song Sales chart.
The single, which was released on September 11, zooms 19-1 on the chart dated September 28.
It takes the lead with a lofty 487% gain in sales in its first full tracking week as it sold 4,000 downloads in the week ending September 19, according to Nielsen Music.
With “Que Calor’s” climb, J Balvin earns his sixth No. 1 on the chart, while Major Lazer and El Alfa claim their first No. 1.
The song also makes progress on other Billboard charts: it hikes 27-9 on the Hot Dance/ Electronic Song tally and debuts at No. 13 on the Hot Latin Songs chart, both of which blend airplay, digital sales and streaming data.
