Enrique Iglesias is turnin’ things up on the Billboard charts…
Following the release of his latest single, “Turn the Night Up,” the 38-year-old Spanish singer-songwriter has notched his second-highest debut on Billboard’s Pop Songs chart.
In its first week of release, Iglesias’ dancetastic single charges in at No. 30 on the chart, making it the week’s greatest gainer.
Of his 18 chart appearances, Iglesias began better only with his first entry, 1999’s “Bailamos,” which entered the chart at No. 28.
“Turn the Night Up” received hourly promotional plays on participating Clear Channel Media and Entertainment stations upon its release last Monday, July 22.
After being available for pre-order, the song will be on sale on iTunes today (July 30).
