He may have recently portrayed Jesus in Lady Gaga‘s music video for “Judas”… But now Rick Gonzalez is preparing to go bad.
The 32-year-old half-Dominican/half-Puerto Rican actor has joined the cast of NBC’s drama pilot Bad Girls.
Adapted from the long-running U.K. series of the same name, the project follows the ins and outs of a group of unlikely women in a federal prison: a scandalous female warden, her new protégé and a host of inmates — some mothers, some friends — who struggle with loyalties to people on the inside and outside.
Gonzalez, best known for his role as Timo Cruz in the movie Coach Carter, will play a hot, tattooed ex gang-banger who is now a correctional officer at the women’s prison and the object of lust among the female inmates.
