The Emmy-winning Latina television executive, who serves as the Director of Operations and Special Projects for Univision Los Angeles, has been elected to the Television Academy’s Board of Governors.
Gomez, who will represent the Los Angeles area, will serve a two-year term beginning January 1, 2015, ending on December 31, 2016.
It’s Gomez’s first-ever term on the Academy’s Board of Governors.
