Gian Marco is switching teams…
The 50-year-old Peruvian singer-songwriter has signed a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music.
Previously signed to Sony/ATV, Gian Marco is known for penning a variety of timeless hit songs including Alejandro Fernández‘s “Canta Corazón,” Marc Anthony‘s “Hasta Que Vuelvas Conmigo,” Gloria Estefan‘s “Hoy” and Paulina Rubio’s “Ni Rosas, Ni Juguetes.” He’s written countless others for Latin pop stars like Emmanuel, Mijares, Diego Torres and Cristian Castro.
“I’m excited to partner with Gustavo and the Warner Chappell team during this exciting new time in my career and I hope everyone enjoys my new music as much as I enjoyed making it,” Gian Marco said.
“A true global talent, Gian is as gifted a songwriter as he is a vocalist,” Gustavo Menendez, president at Warner Chappell Music Latin America said. “He’s captivated the world with his timeless sound and lyrics and I can’t wait for everyone to hear what he has in store with his new album. As we continue to expand our presence in the Peruvian market, we’re thrilled to join forces with one of the most well-known and brightest stars from the country.”
Most recently, Gian Marco released a soulful, R&B-tinged track titled “Prefiero Vivir Sin Ti,” the third single off his forthcoming album, which is due next year.
