Fernanda Andrade’s got NeXt…
Fox has announced plans to air its thriller NeXt, starring the 36-year-old Brazilian actress and John Slattery, on Tuesday nights this fall.

The network will premiere the drama, a hold-over from last season, on Tuesday, October 6 at 9:00 pm.
NeXtcomes from creator and executive producer Manny Coto (24: Legacy) and executive producers and directors John Requa and Glenn Ficarra.
The series is called a fact-based thriller about the emergence of a deadly, rogue artificial intelligence that combines action with an examination of how technology is invading our lives and transforming us in ways we don’t yet understand.
Slattery stars as a Silicon Valley pioneer, who discovers that one of his own creations – a powerful A.I. – might spell global catastrophe, and teams up with a cybercrime agent, played by Andrade, to fight a villain.
The series also stars Michael Mosley, Jason Butler Harner, Eve Harlow, Aaron Moten, Gerardo Celasco, Elizabeth Cappuccino and Evan Whitten.
The series is a production of 20th Century Fox Television.
Andrade rose to acclaim after starring in the horror film The Devil Inside. Her other credits include Sons of Anarchy, Mentalist and Scorpion.
