FKA Twigsis big in Britain…
The 32-year-old part-Spanish singer has earned a big prize at the NME Awards.
FKA Twigs was named Best British Solo Act at the awards show, which took place at the O2 Academy Brixton in London.
Last November, FKA Twigs released her sophomore album, Magdalene, featuring her acclaimed single “Cellophane.” The album wasco-produced with Nicolas Jaar. The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart.
The NME Awards celebrate the best of the year’s British music and pop culture.
Comedian Julie Ryanand Apple Music Beats 1 DJ Julie Adenuga hosted the evening.
